It's good, so good to feel something sweet like this after that pain and dark that he shivers with it. It's a lot - it's almost too much - but it's good, good, good, and he soaks it in. Snags some soap just so he has an excuse to stroke his hands over Vash in return even though Vash isn't nearly as grimy as him, skating carefully around the bullet wounds, mindful not to get soap in them even as he tries to act like they're not there.

It's the first time he's ever avoided any of Vash's scars, and once they're all healed they'll be just the same as the rest - as at-risk of being stroked or kissed over as the rest of Vash - but for now, it feels important. ]
